Dahlia Noir or the "Black Dalia' is Givenchy's first fragrance under creative director Riccardo Tisci.
This fragrance is to be released in Aug. and I couldn't be more excited!
The ad is sensual, sophisticated and haunting, Mariacarla Boscono looks stunning she looks mysterious and empowering.
This fragrance has notes of mandarin, pink pepper and mimosa lead to the extensive and intensive core of rose, iris and patchouli. The base wraps up the composition in a mysterious veil, made with notes of sandalwood, vanilla and tonka bean. This is a powdery floral scent.

This fragrance has also has caused a bit of mix emotions. Since the Black Dalia was such a horrific event some people wonder why Givenchy would choose to "romanticize" the murder case of Elizabeth Short?

Wonderstruck

Taylor Swift announced that she would debut her first fragrance a few months back & now her signature fragrance is about to be released & I am excited!, Her fragrance Wonderstruck in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, sounds amazing, with notes of freesia, green tea, apple blossom, raspberry, dewberry, Hawaiian blanket, hibiscus, honeysuckle, vanilla, musk, peach and sandalwood...this fragrance sounds delicious!
“Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories. Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time,” Swift said in a release. And everything from the perfume’s name to the specific ingredients of the scent were drawn from the singer’s personal life experiences. “I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone,”
I have to admit that even with all the celebrity perfumes out, this is the only one that i have been super excited for. What do you think?

Sephora Nail Studio Art & Lacquer services

This is the most exciting news I've heard this week!, As we all know (or may not know...so now you do.) I am obsessed with nail polish but sometimes I feel like the colors are limited, well not anymore, starting July 25 Sephora will start opening up a Nail Studio Art & Lacquer services!!

They will offer manicures & cute nail art using the latest colors from Dior, Sephora by OPI, Nars, Chanel, Perfect formula, sephora collection and many more.

Sephora is partnering with Xpress Spa (which I'm sure most of us have seen at the airport) so the service should have a quick turnaround time.

I am beyond excited for this, what do you think?

Naunce by Salma Hayek

I love Salma Hayek she is a gorgeous, smart and talented woman, so when I heard that she had taken off 3 years of her career to work on a makeup line called Naunce, I will admit I was a bit shocked but excited to see what she had in store for us.


She explains that this line was inspired by her grandmother who was a cosmetologist who used Native American & Mayan treatments in her products.
Nuance will be in stores in August and will range from $7.99-19.99.
I will have to say that I am not a big fan of the packaging but I will be going to CVS and purchasing a few products.

Summer must have

Summer is here and that means weekends at the beach & pool, so having a waterproof mascara in out makeup kits is a MUST! here are my two favorite mascaras that will have your eyes looking stunning while you relax and do a little swimming. I personally LOVE to swim.

Love love love it!!, ok so I usually stick to Chanel & Dior perfumes but I have to say that I just fell in love with this fresh & sexy perfume by Burberry.

Queen

I must be a little behind on this but I did not know Queen Latifah had a fragrance out!,
I was at the mall yesterday & came across a blinged out red bottle (which was a bit much) but i love the name of the fragrance QUEEN, what women doesn't want to feel like a queen?

This fragrance is actually sweeter then I thought it would have been.
It reminds me of vanilla & caramel. This fragrance has notes of bergamot, mandarin, baie rose, jasmine noir, coriander, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, musk && did I mention golden tequila & cognac!!
Its fun, sexy & flirty and with notes of tequila & cognac it sets it apart from other celebrity perfumes.

I have my sister visiting me for a few weeks and well she & I are complete opposites.

A few weeks back I read that Justin Bieber was going to release a perfume, well I was at sephora yesterday & I must say I actually like it. Its a little flirty & young. I also saw that they added a hair mist!

with notes of Mandarin, Juicy Pear, Wild Berries, Jasmine, Creamy Florals, Vanilla, Soft Musks. this hair mist as well as the perfume are fresh & playful.
