1. BB cream: My favorite, BB cream is a  time-saver as it incorporates a moisturizer, primer, tinted moisturizer, concealer and mattifier all in one, its lightweight and leaves your skin tone even, its not a full coverage so its not going to be feel heavy on your skin.

2. Concealer: seriously a MUST have in your make up kit. I apply it after the BB cream (or foundation) to cover up any imperfections, redness ect.

3. Setting Powder: I love using a  setting powder after foundation to prevent excess oil and add a slight glow.

4. Bronzer/Blush: The peachy color highlights  your cheeks to give you a fresh, natural flush look and the light-brown golden shimmer of the bronzer powder contours and adds warmth to your skin.

5. Eyebrows: I lightly fill in my eyebrows.

Sears : NEW beauty center

 

Sears is making a come back, Sears has opened 100 beauty centers nationwide!.

These beauty centers will include  drug store brands such as L’Oreal,  Maybelline, Cover  Girl as well as Burt Bees and StriVectin. The New beauty center will also include a few prestige lines. 

This new department will also carry nail care from Essie, Sallly Hansen and Nicole by OPI, skin care and fragrance for men and women.

In addition you will now be able to get makeup tips and advice from beauty advisors

Who will be assisting you in perfecting your look. I am a little excited & hope that one will open near my area.!

Tips: Mascara

Mascara is an everyday MUST, it opens up your beautiful eyes and just pulls your whole look together.

I wear mascara even when I am on a no makeup day (your skin needs to breath).

So here are a few tips to get the most & best of your mascara:

- Bend your wand at a angle (it helps with the application.)

-please TOSS out your mascara after 6months (yes mascara expires)

- Never, ever ever pump the wand because it adds air to the container.

- want to avoid blobs.. wipe the wand on tissue to remove excess mascara.

-Don't be afraid to mix your mascaras: I personally use 2, one for length and one for volume.

Item of the week: FIT ME

On my night run to CVS I came across MY Product of the week.
I love foundations that feel extra light, soft and natural, well this amazing foundation gave me all of that & amazing coverage all for under $10!.
So I bought shade #235 and I must say it was a tad bit darker but its ok since summer is just around the corner.
Pros:
-natural look
-does not look cakey
-good coverage
-
Cons:
- after a few hours it starts to make your skin look oily
-not the best if you have oily skin
-takes about 5mins to sit & "FIT" your complexion

I wore this to work today and minus the oily look after a few hours (which I fixed by bloating and applying loose powder)
i really liked it, i love that it feels like you have no makeup on and it sits well on your skin.
This just might be my new foundation.
