Fave trend for 2013 spring/summer: Blue eyeshadow

One of my favorite looks for summer/ spring 2013  is the blue eyeshadow/ eyeliner. 

Eyeliner is by far one of the top makeup inventions; eyeliner makes your eyes pop, blue eyeliner is a great and easy way to make your eyes stand out. There are so many shades of blue from a bright vibrant blue to a deep navy blue, the choices are endless and so much fun to play with.
 

                                       

I used Aida Cosmetics eyeshadow in Wild waves, I love this electric blue as an eyeshadow so  I used a bit of water and a brush to make it a vibrant eyeliner, for my lips I used Ka’oir cosmetics lipstick in Invisible. 

SPRING 2013 : Eyeliner

One thing I always have in my makeup bag is eyeliner, its been one of my favorite and must have essentials since I was in high school,(I love that it makes my eyes pop, especially a black liner) and ever since the cat-eye trend hit last year, eyeliner has become a newfound essential as well, for Spring 2013 shows the eyeliner was all over the runway, from a soft smudged liner to a retro flicked up liner, below are some of my favorite liner looks for Spring 2013!

Make the most out of your makeup stash

Nothing worst then running out of one of your favorite products right when you need it, well sometimes there is a solution, mixing and matching products to get what you need.
You will also be maximizing what’s in your kit by creating your own makeup, I love doing this its fun & easy, you need just a little bit of patience to find the perfect shade or consistency for your skin.
Here are a few:
Tinted moisturizer:

What you need:

Mineral powder

Moisturizer

Start by putting moisturizer(the normal amount you would usually use) in a plate or if you have a small empty container that also works then add about 4-5 pinches of mineral foundation and mix it together, if needed add more until you get the right mix.

Color Eyeliner:
What you need:
Loose powder eyeshadow
Eyeliner brush
Water

Put a few drops of water on your brush then dip it into a small amount of the eye shadow and apply, reapeat until you get the intensity that you are looking for!

Black Eyeliner

I was talking to a coworker about eyeliner and how she avoids using black eyeliner because someone told her not to because her eyes appear smaller. I personally LOVE black eyeliner and my eyes are tiny and is till use it. So it got me thinking, how many women avoid certain eyeliner colors or eyeliner all together because of what someone told them? Black eyeliner adds definition and brightness to your eyes, when you apply top & bottom its when it makes your eyes appear smaller. Black eyeliner should be something everywoman should have in their makeup bag, because it is versatile and can help you create from an old Hollywood glamour look to a rock- chick look.
