Dove presents: Winter Care Body Wash

I went home for thanksgiving & I always forget how cold the Bay Area can be, lets just say I need to learn to check the weather so I can pack accordingly.
Anyways during my trip I discovered an AH-MAZING body wash, my aunt had this fabulous Winter Care body wash by Dove, it is limited edition and comes in a cute winter wonderland theme bottle. This creamy wash is enriched with natural creams & oils and helps your skin stay nice & soft during this harsh winter, its so soft you can even skip the body lotion! ..the best part its under $10!! (perfect stocking stuffer!!)

Must have: Foundation brush

Nicki Minaj & OPI

Say what you want about Nicki Minaj but she is doing it, she is leaving her mark everywhere from the music industry to fashion and now cosmetics, First with MAC and now a collaboration with OPI. I am super excited for this collection of 6 nail polish that will be released on January 2012. Nicki is known for her crazy & unique style and her nail polishes are just that crazy and unique. This fragrance will be packaged in the same bottle-type as her first fragrance, which is inspired by the shape of a stiletto heel. Rebelle is will be distinguished with a twisting red ribbon .

MAC Viva Glam

OMG!!! So this morning. MAC unveiled this years Viva Glam campaign and the new faces are Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin!!
The amazing ad was shot by nonother then David La Chapelle.
Both Lipsticks are a different shade of pink, named Viva Glam Ricky & Viva Glam Nicki. They will go on sale February 2012 for about $14ea and they are sold entirely for charity, 100% of the sale goes to MAC AIDS fund ….And did I mention the ad is HOT

DIY Conditioning masks for dry/ damaged hair

I love treating my hair to a deep conditioning hair mask, after all it goes through a lot during the week, from a hair straightner, curler, blow drier & too many products.

A conditioning mask helps not only relax my hair but also my mind.. those minutes you spend before you rinse are just that relaxing. Below are some do it at home hair masks if you don't want to purchase some.

Hair Rescue Mask

You will need the following:

1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons light olive oil
4 drops essential oil of peppermint
1 sprig fresh rosemary

Mix all the ingredients in a blender( or food processor) blend until you have a smooth mixture, next apply the entire mixture and massage it into your scalp and hair. Put on a shower cap (or wrap your hair in a old towel) and leave the mixture on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.

Banana mask

You will need the following one

1 banana
1 egg
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons milk
5 tablespoons olive oil

Next spread the mixture through your hair and wrap your hair around & leave it on for about 15 to 30 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Must Have: Hair Mask
