Halloween is almost here, and just like some of you I still don't know what I'm going to dress up as.
Well I need something to wear through out the day & night, since I have to be in the office, and a masquerade party after that- nothing like a quick and way mask.
What you need:
2-3 eyeshadows
Makeup sponge
Primer
Lace or lace pantyhose
Eyeliner
Eyeliner brush
1.Apply primer all around the area that you will be putting eyeshadow on
2.Place the pantyhose over your face
3. With the sponge apply eyeshadow build up the color
4. Apply the second & third color
5. Remove the pantyhose or lace
6. This is optional, you can draw around your eye area (like if it was a mask)
7. You can also add jewels (apply eyelash glue)

KA'OIR review
I totally lagged it, I thought I had posted a review on these lipsticks, but I didn’t (shame on me)
But if you follow me on IG or Twitter you probably saw me post the pics.
To be honest I was a bit scared to try the bright color lipsticks BUT I have to say, I LOVE them,
I don’t know about wearing them to the office but I’d totally sport one on a night out and since its almost Halloween,
Why not throw on a sexy bright color and head out to a party, I only ordered 3 colors but I will most def be ordering more (some pinks and nudes)
Visit their website KA’OIR.com to look at other colors and products.
I honestly love that the colors are so bright, so I don’t have to apply tons of lipstick to get the color.
And it lasts, so I don’t have to worry about having to reapply over & over.
Jamaica (a bright tropical green)- I LOVED this color, it was a bright but not over whelming, throw on a thick eyeliner & lashes.
Banana Milkshake (a bright yellow)- I used this one on its on and also paired up with a red to do an Ombre lip.
Ka’oir Doll (a bright blue) – this is probably one of their best sellers, it didn’t look that good on me but I do love the color!
KA’OIR cosmetics are NOT animal tested!

Make the most out of your makeup stash
Nothing worst then running out of one of your favorite products right when you need it, well sometimes there is a solution, mixing and matching products to get what you need.
You will also be maximizing what’s in your kit by creating your own makeup, I love doing this its fun & easy, you need just a little bit of patience to find the perfect shade or consistency for your skin.
Here are a few:
Tinted moisturizer:
What you need:
Mineral powder
Moisturizer
Start by putting moisturizer(the normal amount you would usually use) in a plate or if you have a small empty container that also works then add about 4-5 pinches of mineral foundation and mix it together, if needed add more until you get the right mix.
Color Eyeliner:
What you need:
Loose powder eyeshadow
Eyeliner brush
Water
Put a few drops of water on your brush then dip it into a small amount of the eye shadow and apply, reapeat until you get the intensity that you are looking for!

Nude lips
I love a nude lips, and as my luck would have it I found the perfect shade & then lost it, so instead of making another trip to the store, I made some at home.
Here is a quick way to use what you already have in your make up bag, mix & enjoy!
What you need:
empty container, concealer, brush, clear lipgloss, pink lisptick (optional)
1.grab a bit of concealer (always a shade or two lighter then your actual skin tone )
2.in an empty container mix it with clear lipgloss
3.mix it with a bursh until its creamy
(if you want add a bit off soft pink lipstick)
4.exfoliate & moisture your lips
5.apply!
PS: don’t apply the concealer directly on your lips!!

How to create the perfect pout
Here are a few tips to help you get that perfect pout.
1.Exfoliate your lips then apply a hydrating lip balm (try doing it before you apply lipstick, lipgloss)
2. don’t have a scrub? Try using a disposable mascara wand & lip balm (or Vaseline)
3. ALWAYS apply a hydrating lip balm (or lip primer) before applying lipstick.
4. Want to tone down the bright lipstick? – try mixing a small amount of liquid foundation; this will tone down the color as well as make it last longer.
5. Use a lip brush to get a precise application (try using a square eyeliner brush, it will give u a lot of definition)
6. winter is almost here, this cold weather causes your lips to dry up ( try mixing a bit of lemon juice to your lip balm, this will help exfoliate your lips)
7. Invest in a good lip liner, there is nothing worst then a dry lip liner.
8. Invest in a lip primer, this will help keep your lips moisturized
9. Apply lip liner all over your lips, this will help keep the color all day & night.
10. Apply your lipstick/ lip gloss in a vertical movement, (if your lips have deep lines, this will help to hide them instead of highlighting them)
Just like your face and eyes, your lips also need especial care & prep, so investing in a few extra lip products, will make a HUGE difference.
3 things to always have
Lip primer
a good lip balm
lip scrub (or make one at home, its easy & inexpensive)

So not wearing makeup makes you better than someone who does?
I recently came across an article in which a woman was fired from her job because she refused to wear makeup, that is the craziest reason for someone to be fired. But I was more baffled by the comments, as I started reading them, I noticed a lot of women stating that they were treated differently when wearing makeup as opposed to not wearing makeup, and others talking about how a woman that wears makeup daily is uncomfortable with their own appearance.
Now personally I’ve come across women before who believe that they are better than the next woman because they don’t wear makeup, so as I was reading these comments, I was shocked that one woman will put down another woman because of what she chooses to do for herself.
Makeup is an art, a way for someone to express themselves, and for someone to think that because a woman walks around with a kick ass red lipstick or smoky eye she has low self esteem is beyond crazy. How does someone come to this conclusion without knowing the woman, a woman is beautiful with or without makeup, it is all about how you carry yourself,
I know personally I’m happy walking around with little to no makeup on as well as walking around with some liner & lipstick or some soft smoky eyes.
So… do you automatically assume a woman doesn’t take care of herself because she doesn’t wear makeup? & when one does wear makeup you assume that she has low self esteem?
