Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away & China glaze collection

I'm excited for this collections, the colors for the nail polishes look amazing & the lashes look like so much fun! They will be available first week of December.

Renting Nail polishes

 I’m not sure how I feel about this exactly, because part of me is excited but another part of me is thinking germs.. germs..germs,
There is a new company called Lacquerous.com which works like Rent the Runway BUT with Nail polishes, now although I love the idea of paying $18 a month and getting 3 luxury nail polishes for the month, I guess is like going to the nail salon & getting your nails done,( I’m the girl who brings her own nail polishes to the salon.) and there is no water for the bacteria to live in when it comes to nail polishes, so its partly ok to share nail polishes, plus lets be honest, its not like we finish nail polishes right away, so in a sense you will be saving money.

Here is a break down of how it works:
1.Request to join Lacquers (yes there is a waiting list)
2. once you join create a “Lust List” (they add new shades; & have brands like Chanel, Dolce & Gabana, NARS, Butter London, Tom Ford, OPI, Dior, MAC ect)
3. Pay $18 a month and receive 3 designer shades (Lacquers asks each polish three times per rental period, they monitor the amount of polish in each bottle to make sure people are following this rule)
4. ship them back after your 30 days (it comes with prepaid postage) & in a few days you will receive 3 new nail polishes.

Holiday must: Cranberries

I love homemade face masks, and with thanksgiving just around the corner, I will be stocking up on some cranberries, and not just eat but also to make an amazing
Anti-aging face mask, put those extra cranberries to an amazing use, Cranberries are amazing for your skin, they help fight free radicals that can cause wrinkles, and they also help keep your skin moisturized, this mask is filled with vitamin A & C.

What you need:
1. 1cup of fresh cranberries
2. 2teaspoons of grapefruit juice
3. 1cup seedless red grapes
4. 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
5. old tshirt (cranberries may stain your clothes when u apply the facemask)



1- blend all the ingredients, make sure the grapes & cranberries are washed, puree them until they look like a paste.
2- let it sit in the refrigerator for about 40mins (so that it gets thicker)
3- let it sit out for a few minutes.
4. make sure your face is clean & wear an old T-shirt
5- apply the mask once it is at room temperature.
6- relax for 15mins then rinse with warm water.

Well Sephora and Disney have brought us a collection of spellbound eyeshadows, perfume, lipsticks & nail polishes… I totally love the collection but what won my heart over was the “ So this is love..” Swarovski edition perfume. ($175)
Looking at the perfume bottle, I honestly just fell in love, the bottle is simply magical, with a limited edition bottle that is covered in Swarovski crystals , this bottle is fit for a princess, from the beautiful bottle to the magical scent.

With notes of Fresh Aldehydes, Plumeria, Dewy Hyacinth, Tuberose, Sheer Jasmine, Solar Accord, Musks, Plum, Creamy Woods, this scent is simply dreamy & romantic.

SPRING 2013 : Eyeliner

One thing I always have in my makeup bag is eyeliner, its been one of my favorite and must have essentials since I was in high school,(I love that it makes my eyes pop, especially a black liner) and ever since the cat-eye trend hit last year, eyeliner has become a newfound essential as well, for Spring 2013 shows the eyeliner was all over the runway, from a soft smudged liner to a retro flicked up liner, below are some of my favorite liner looks for Spring 2013!

5 must have products

few products that should always be in your makeup bag,

Alright ladies here is a list of a few products that should ALWAYS be in your makeup,

1.Mascara – it helps open up your eyes.
2. Primer – this is a must, it helps your make up stay on all day long & fill in fine lines & pores. (NEVER skip this) (try Napoleon perdis for your face & NARS eyelid primer or Urban Decay)
3. concealer- nothing worst then bags under your eyes or a pimple on a day special day. (this is like my BFF)
4. eyeshadow palette – you don’t want to throw in every eyeshadow you own, so instead of several individual ones, throw in a palette. (Urban Decay Naked palettes are amazing)
5. Lipstick – nothing like a pop of color & if you are using a soft pink you can always apply some on your cheek as blush.

A quick tip for your skin

I seriously love the fall weather, but my skin not so much, it tends to get super dry and since I’m always on a rush in the morning, I don’t always put lotion on.
I know Its bad and my skin feels horrible after, but sometimes it comes down to – coffee or lotion, so I usually put a bit on in a rush and grab some coffee, well this year I started using coconut oil at night all over my skin and its working wonders!! My skin is not as dry as it usually is in the AM during this cold weather.

So I had to share this tip, after you shower (I shower at night & in the AM) at night, after I get out of the shower, I don’t dry my skin all the way & rub my body down with Coconut oil, since your skin is still moist and not all the way dry from the shower, it locks in the moisture from the oil leaving your skin super soft, and going to bed smelling like coconut is just heavenly! I apply extra on my elbows, knees and my feet. In the morning if I have to skip the lotion, I don’t feel as guilty.

Next time you are at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods pick up some organic coconut oil and apply it not just on your hair but also on your skin! Trust me you will fall in love & your skin will feel & smell amazing.
