Happy 86th birthday Norma Jeane Mortensen Baker.
Today would’ve been Marilyn Monroe’s 86th birthday,
I have always loved Marilyn Monroe, this actress & icon died in 1962 but her legacy still alive today, she has influenced many of today’s actresses & fashion,.
Marilyn Monroe helped changed the way society looked at women.
She understood her sex appeal & by no means did she want to sacrifice her beauty and sex appeal in
movies or her business career.
She believed a woman could be smart& sexy at the same time & should be taken seriously, and refused accept the sexist society in which she lived, so she helped change it.
those where some pretty liberated ideas for her time.
(& who doesn’t love the red lips & winged eyeliner look.. simply beautiful like her.)

Essie: Luxeffects
So I'm totally in love with this collection, my favorite hands down "A cut above" [shattered pink diamond glitz] what girl doesn't love pink & diamonds.
It kinda reminds me of a quinceanera, I used a soft pink/brownish color as a bottom coat & topped it off with this luxurious color.

10min makeup routine
Come mon-fri im totally guilty of sporting little to no make up!.. I'm usually in a hurry in the AM & specially during the summer, I love a simple sexy look. My favorite is simple: black eyeliner, lipgloss/lipstick, mascara & blush. It's simple & in less then 10mins, I'm out the door! What more can a girl ask for.

Braids
So by now we all know that braids are totally in!, and I have seen every type of braid && I'm totally in love.
A friend of mine sports a braid w/ full bangs & i totally fell in love but that didnt work for me.
I looked up a few different styles, they are great for a day at the beach, the pool and even for a formal event.

Nails: Quick tip!
I am addicted to nail polishes & tend to do my nails about 3-4 times a week & if your like me sometimes it's a longer process because of the drying time.
Well here is a quick tip to help us all.
If you soak your hands(or feet) in cold h20 for about 3mins not only will they dry quicker BUT it will also remove any nail polish that got on your skin!
