DIY Craze: Updating some tables and chairs

After giving my coffee cups a mini facelift with the gold spray paint, I decided to put this magical spray to use and transformed my plain black table to a gold glass table!.
Who knew $6.00 will create such a difference, after 2 spray bottles my table was done. Next I needed to update my plain & basic Ikea chairs.

Unlike my quick weekend table project. This lovely project took me about 3 weeks to finish, mainly because of work and I gave up a couple times.. I finally finished and couldn’t be happier.
The chairs are super cute and look amazing with my Gold & Glass table.
I updated my chairs for under $40.
-          4 yards of Fabric $12.00
-          2-Primer $3 each
-          White paint $10
-          Fluffly filling $3 ( I seriously forgot the name but I found this in Walmart in the crafts section)
-          Thumb tacks $2
-          Heat and bond strips $2
-          Glue gun ( I already had this)

1.First I primed the chairs (this was seriously a must, one can covered 2 chairs) I tried painting a chair without primer, worst idea ever.
It took more paint and time to paint the chair without primer.
I let the primer set over night and the next day I painted the chairs.
2.Next I measured and cut the fabric to fit the chairs, I used the heat and bond strips on the ends to fold them in.

3.Place the fabric over the chair, and fill it in with the fluffy filling. I attached the fabric to the chair on one side and the back before starting to fill in the cushion.
I used the thumb tacks every 2” and used the glue gun in the center as well as the edges where you fold the fabric.
After the second chair and a few glasses of wine this was easier and I finished the last chair in less than 20mins.
I will  definitely re-do my chairs again, especially for less than $10 a chair!... seriously best makeover ever!!.

Using as a conditioner:
After you shampoo and rinse your hair apply a little bit from the roots to the ends, I left a bit more on the ends since they needed the most help. Leave it on for about 2,3 minutes then rinse off.

This product can be used as a hair mask or conditioner. I used this mostly as a conditioner since I had recently bleached and dyed my hair, I needed some serious TLC.

After using this as a conditioner for a week I saw some serious difference in my hair, specially the tips which where beyond damaged from all the hair products, blow dryer, hair straightener, bleach, hair dye.. Laawd I can go on for days, my poor hair :(

I've been using this for over a month now and my hair feels and looks amazing!, it's so soft and shinny (but not oily shinny)...this is seriously one of the best hair masks I've tried, I've already purchased another one.

Oh hello big sexy hair: #Voloom Review

Disclaimer: The products featured on this post was picked by me to review for LABlush. This is not a sponsored or paid review from iFabbo. The products I received were shipped by iFabbo, for blog review purposes.

It's always amazing to try new products and find one that does everything you wanted and more!.

I few weeks back I received a hair iron that processed to give me volume within minutes.
Of course I was skeptical but was dying to Try it and see if it really did do what it promised. Flat hair is one of the worst things a girl can experience.

What's in the box?:
- Voloom iron
-3 hair clips
-red pointed handle brush

How to use:
1. Start with dry hair
2. Use the end of the brush to help separate your hair.
3. Hold your hair up with the clips.
4. Grab small sections under the top layer and Clamp the Voloom iron close to your scalp, and a few more inches down (depending on the length of your hair.)
5. Once you've finished, you should release the top layer which is smooth.
volume= Big sexy huuur

This shouldn't take more than 10 mins.

The verdict:

LOVE LOVE LOVE!, I seriously can't believe I've lived so long without this amazing gadget. No more teasing my hair and putting on tons of products to create volume.

You can purchase this only at voloom.com Retail $129.99 ( You can also make 3 easy payments of $43.33)

#Miracle in a bottle? Monat Global #Rejuveniqe™ Oil

Disclaimer: The products featured on this post was picked by me to review for LABlush. This is not a sponsored or paid review from iFabbo. The products I received were shipped by iFabbo, for blog review purposes.

When I received this product I was impressed right away with the packaging, from the box that it came in to the beautiful , sleek and chic  silver bottle ( which I am soo glad it’s not glass).
A good first impression is a MUST and Rejuvenique Oil Intensive had my heart right away.

What does it do?:  At first I really wasn’t sure and after reading about it was impressed, this works for your hair and skin, this is amazing for anti-aging and for dry hair (like mine L )
This has blend of amazing oils consist of:

Abyssinian The Key ingredient in Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive. From the crambe abyssinica plant native to central Africa, it’s a rare and unique combination of fatty acids prized for their ability to do everything from mimic the effects of silicon for unbeatable shine; lubricate the hair deep into the follicle; and protect and coat each strand.
BaobabThe renowned baobab trees have grown for centuries in the arid climates of India and Africa, and its exotic oil from the tree’s seeds are rich in antioxidant-rich palmitic acid and Vitamin F.
Buriti The fruit of Africa’s Moriche palm – known as the Tree of Life – is one of the world’s richest sources of beta-carotene, which moisturizes and nourishes.
Camelia Also known as tea-seed oil, it’s ultra-hydrating oil responsibly harvested from China that cleans the scalp and pampered dry stands thanks to its abundance of Vitamin E and polyphenols.
Carrot Seed Specially sourced from the mountains of Switzerland, it’s rich in Vitamin A to condition the scalp, plus Alpha Linolenic Acid for anti-inflammatory protection.
Monoi Selectively sourced from the warm tropics of Tahiti, it’s a restorative oil rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids to heal damage and promote growth from the root.
Meadowfoam This oil is sourced right from the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Named for its flowers’ resemblance to white foam on the ocean, meadowfoam oil is another outstanding source of Omega 9 fatty acids for shine and sheen.
Moringa Ancient Egyptians prized Moringa Oil for its nourishing properties, thanks to antioxidants and Vitamin E, which help combat skin fatigue, plus clean and purify the scalp.

exclusion listNO Phthalates, PEG, DEA/MEA, Sulfates, Parabens, Harsh salt systems, Harmful colors, Harmful fragrances.

                                  The Verdict:

After straightening my hair almost daily, dying it, blow drying it ect. My hair started to pay the price, it was so dry. I honestly didn’t know what to do.
I used this every day before I showered and saw amazing results after a month, my hair was no longer dry and my curls looked so much prettier.
I used this on my skin, which was great because this unexpected So Cal cold weather made my skin extra dry, I really loved how well it worked on my skin and the anti-aging is a PLUS, I use this on my face and neck before bed.
This is a bit pricey $99. So that’s where I am on the fence with this product, I honestly would spend the $99 because it lasts a long time and I saw a difference in my skin and hair!.

You can purchase this  HERE

as well as other Monat products.

Billion Dollar Brows #MustHave

One of my new years resolutions, to always have a #StrongBrowGame,
I can't stress enough how much of a difference eyebrows make, they shape your face and pull together your look. They are one of the most important features.
luckily right before the year was over I received Billion Dollar Brows Best Sellers Kit
from Brand Backer & Billion dollar brows *happy dance*.

Billion Dollar Brows is known for their amazing eyebrow products and tools.
this kit includes their best selling:

Brow Gel (Clear): This gel helps keep your eyebrows in place all day long, while giving it a soft polished touch, the best part is.. this gel NEVER flakes.

Billion Dollar Brows Duo Highlighter: This 2 in one concealer and highlighter pencil is beyond amazing!, on one side you have a highlighter that's perfect for any skin tone, just use a bit to your brow bone to give your brows a gorgeous definition. the universal concealer is for on the go touch ups.

Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil:  This unique pencil relieves the headache of finding that perfect color to match your hair color. This pencil goes on smoothly and gives your eyebrow a full natural look. ( no sharpie eyebrows!)

Billion Dollar Brows Smudge Brush: This KIT would not be complete with this amazing synthetic flat brush, this brush is amazing for creamy cosmetics, which is perfect for the Brow Duo Pencil.

The Verdict:

I used this both when my eyebrows where growing out and after getting them done,  the brow gel was amazing, it help keep my brows in place and never flaked. (which has happened before and it was embarrassing!).  The highlighter and concealer worked amazing!, although the first time i used a bit much and it looked a bit cakey :(

After only using powder on my brows, I wasn't sure about the eyebrow pencil, i had to build up the color to match my dark brown hair but once my eyebrows where done, they looked amazing and stayed that way all day long. ( even in the Crazy SoCal Heat!.)

This Kit is beyond amazing, great quality products for $34.99!, seriously it's a must have.

you can purchase this at your local Khols.
