Everyone enjoys a nice glass of wine or cocktail, I know I enjoy this guilty pleasure.
Well I have a trip to ATL coming up with my girls and my besti (@InStyleITrust) came up with a great idea
No drinking until then. I wasn’t all for the idea at first, as I do enjoy a glass or two of wine or a delicious margarita.
I decided to do some research, I mean we all know alcohol is fattening & the worst calories to burn.
(A glass of wine=125cal vodka tonic-120.. I don’t even want to look at mixed drinks)
Alcohol is not bad in moderation, but if you over indulge your health & skin will suffer,
Alcohol will reduce the level of vitamin A, this vitamin helps keep your skin looking & feeling healthy,
Vitamin A helps has antioxidant properties that can help to reduce damage caused by free radicals.[free radicals can cause the breakdown of collagen fibers and elastin], this vitamin also helps push up new skin cells to keep your skin looking healthy.
Alcohol also dehydrates your skin causing it to loose blood circulation.
The of abuse alcohol will result in a bloated & puffy face with fine lines & wrinkles… I think I’ll skip that look.
So enjoy a drink or two but don’t over indulge your health & skin will thank you.
