Review: Revlon's the Pacific Coast Collection by Gucci Westman

I was excited to try part of this collection, I have to admit I don't really have any Revlon products, not sure why.These products are part of Revlon's the Pacific Coast Collection by Gucci Westman spring/summer 2013 collection.

                       ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow in Sea Mist

 

According to Revlon this is a blendable, crease and smudge proof and last up to 16 hours, well I have to disagree I did find the shadows blendable but I wasn't a big fan of the pigmentation, don't get me wrong its good for a drugstore palette but the emerald was as bright as I wanted, I loved the purple and the turquoise (which i found to be more of a baby blue), all the shades have shimmer and did not last 16hrs, they last about 8hrs.

                Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade and Sorbet

 

 These amazing lip balms are made with shea and coconut butter which hydrate & help moisturize your lips, by far the best lip balm I've ever tried.

Pink Lemonade: This is a very light, peachy pink and it has no glitter (YAY) its super soft, amazing for a soft day look, this has been my to go lip color this past few days, I'm pretty much hooked!

Sobert:This is a deeper color than pink lemonade is almost like a fuschia/ neon pink. It's perfect for all skin tones and great for day and night!

In Trade winds, this nude nail polish is a great neutral color, I cant believe I've never purchased a Revlon nail polish, I have been missing out, this color stays on with out chipping or cracking.

Review: True or False Lashes

Hi Loves,

A couple months back I came across a lash company on IG, True or False lashes.
I have placed a few orders and honestly the only issue I had with them was getting the wrong order, this happened a couple times but they where quick to fix the issue.
.
Well over a month ago they started this .80cent sale and I was super excited, total steal I bought about 50 pairs. It's been about a month and a half and  I am very disappointed because I haven't received my order, yet I see them posting pics on IG of huge orders being sent out and one pic even said if you didn't receive your order with in 7 days you would get your money back!.. I am way over my 7 days and don't have either. I've tried reaching out to the company, I've sent them emails, KIK messages and even left a comment on IG and realized I wasn't the only one disappointed with this, there where tons of comments from other girls asking about their purchases.

This is a small start up company and I understand that but that doesn't mean you completely ignore your costumers, a simple email apologizing for the delay would've been nice and would've probably made their customers feel better and understand, I know I would've.


I really hope they fix whatever issues they're having because I really like this company.

Olivarium is made of 100% organic Italian olive oil with tomato lycopen, this is great for your skin since it contains tons of minerals and vitamins which help nourish your sin and it makes it so soft.  I actually really liked this duo, it was perfect for before bed, I went to bed feeling so soft, and the smell? well unlike my horrible thoughts this smelled soft & clean, which I was a bit surprised but happy about.

Oh how I love a good tan,  unfortunately I don't tan well I go from Casper to looking like Sebastian from the Little Mermaid and trying to find a self tanner that doesn't leave you looking like an oompa loompa.. hard to find.

 A few weeks back I was able to try Beautisol tea tan glow body bronzer and I was in love but it was only temporary and after a shower it was gone.

Well now I got to try Beautisol  self tanning Mousse.
 Just like the bronzer this also comes with a a guide which will tell you how much to apply to each part of your body and a glove to apply the mousse with it makes the application process go buy quick and you don't have those messy palms after. Beautisol is streak free and almost fragrance free.
You can see some change on the first application, and the color is buildable, I did 2 applications and after 6hrs I had an AH-MAZING tan, I looked like I just came back from a tropical vacation. (I wish I had).

Review: Hydroxatone BB cream

A couple months ago I tried L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream, I wanted to see what all the fuzz was about with BB creams and I didn't like it, it was too greasy and the shades didn't blend well, I stayed away from BB creams after that.

Well I was lucky to have received Hydroxatone's Anti-aging BB cream, this light weight BB cream has SPF 40, is an all in one cream, it  reduces the look of aging and brightens and firms your skin and evens out skin tone. This BB cream blends easily and is not greasy at all, it leaves you with a matter finish which is perfect if you have oily skin like me. This BB cream is a bit more pricey than the L'Oreal one but its totally worth it.

How to: Red lips & winged eyeliner

 Winged eyeliner and red lips is so classic and stunning, its one of my favorite looks!

Face:
1. Primer your face
2. I use a liquid foundation, not to much just a bit.
3. Use concealer to fix any imperfections and also under your eyes to cover up any bags or dark circles.
4. Use a kabuki brush and apply a bit of loose powder to set foundation and concealer
5. Use bronzer to contour your face:
    - under your cheekbones or parallel to your jaw line. (this makes your cheekbones pop)
    -the sides of your nose from the bridge straight down, this makes your nose appear thinner&             longer (make sure to blend well)
     - on the sides of your forehead and also on your jaw line and under your chin.
6. Apply some blush & then highlighter above it.

Eyes: 

1. prime your eyes (this helps your eyeshadow stay in place)
2. fill in your eyebrows
3. Use Naked2: On the crease use Foxy, booty call on the lid, on the outer V use suspect and on top snake bite.
4. use a white eyeliner on the bottom water line.
5. create a winged eyeliner, I use tape at the ends to get the perfect wing.
6. Curl your lashes and coat them with mascara
7. apply lashes

Lips:
1. prime your lips, this will ensure that your lips are in condition to apply lipstick
2. line your lips and fill them in with the lip liner.
3. fill in your lips with lipstick
4. use concealer along the lip line to cleanup and highlight your lips, a touch on cupids bow adds extra dimension. (the indentation above your upper lip)
