A few weeks back I received a face mask from Farmacy Beauty. The first thing I loved was the handwritten note from them.

I received the deep moisture coconut face mask and was beyond excited, I love face masks they make those 20 mins feel like a mini spa trip.






I made sure my skin was clean and toned before applying the face mask.
when I opened the package you could still see the product all over the package, I unfolded the mask and thought that this would leave my face super oily. (my fear, as my skin is oily on its own.)
the mask felt soft and had a soft fragrance.
I left the mask on for 20 mins as suggested, I removed the mask and gently massaged the excess formula into my skin.






My skin felt ah-mazing!, it felt so soft and hydrated but not oily.

Vita Science’s Maxasorb B12 cream Review

Cheers to weekend and new product to review! Over the past month I got to try out Vita Science’s Maxasorb B12 cream and the results were amazing.

Review:

Dermalogica: PreCleanse

A few weeks ago I received  Dermalogica’s  Pre- cleanse Oil and Wipes, and was a little unsure about this. I’ve heard of double cleansing but have yet to try if.

So what is double cleansing?

double cleansing is basically using an oil  cleanser(PreCleanse) to remove makeup & impurities from your skin followed by your regular face wash.

Verdict:

This worked great!, this blend of oils removed all of my makeup, waterproof mascara and eyelash glue included!.

My face felt soft and clean!, it felt a little greasy but after washing it with my regular face wash it was gone. I would definitely buy this again!.

Pura D'or Review

One of my goals this year was to use more natural products on my hair, I started with natural hair masks using InstaNatural hair mask and also coconut oil, almond oil, eggs ect. I still needed to find a good shampoo and conditioner to help my hair stay on the healthy route & in comes in Pura D'or to the rescue!.

I received Pura D'or a couple of weeks ago, and started using it right away.

Review time...

Although I don't suffer from hair loss this shampoo was great,  my hair is fairly thin and I've been looking for a shampoo that doesn't weigh my hair down and the anti hair loss did just that.

The shampoo has a fresh tea tree oil smell.
My scalp felt so tingly and the fragrance was amazing. The bottle says it's enough for 3 months but I'm not sure mine will last that long, After the 4th day I notice my hair feeling healthier, it didn't feel weighed down by the product and it felt so healthy!. My scalp also felt amazing and my hair didn't look super oily like it normally does which is needed!!. 

The soft smell of lavender in the morning before a hectic day is everything!. 

This conditioner left my hair feeling and looking healthier right away. I love that my hair looked so healthy and didn't look flat and weighted down, it actually had volume without the need of teasing my hair or any extra products. The smell is seriously amazing, the only downside is I don't think that bottle will last me 3 months :(.

This set of shampoo and conditioner is really just amazing, they're full of vitamins and oils and not harsh chemicals.

A few weeks ago I received Rodan & Fields Redefine and  Acute Care and couldn't have been more excited, I love trying new products that help keep your skin healthy!

 The Redefine Regimen comes with 4 amazing products, this regime is used twice a day.
this regime consists of a Daily cleansing mask, Pore minimizing toner and moisturizer for day with SPF 30, and the Overnight Restorative Cream.






1. Daily Cleansing Mask:  Unlike most day to day face washes this is a clay based cleansing mask,
  it dries with in 2-3mins and  utilizes “fine dimethicone microbead” to clear skin of  excess oils and debris as well as work on minimizing pores. 






2.Pore Minimizing Toner: Exfoliates and minimizes pores, this is an alcohol free
   toner.





3: Moisturizer : light weight moisturizer with SPF 30
3: (PM) Overnight Restorative Cream: A light weight blend of hydrating cacid, glycerin and      antioxidants.


Overall i was very happy with the results, I was able to feel a difference within the first day, my skin felt plump and tight.  The mask left my face feeling soft, the only downside was that i had to wash my face prior to applying this to ensure that all of my makeup was removed. The toner (my favorite) brought me back to toners, I had stopped using them because of how harsh they felt but this one was truly amazing, the only downside to the moisturizer was that my skin felt a little oily after the moisturizer.
I love that the moisturizers didn't sit on my skin, although they did leave my skin feeling a little oily but not too bad. 

RODAN + FIELDS ACUTE CARE

Skin Care for Expression Lines

 The Acute care is a patch, that looks almost like a band aid that is filled
with Hyaluronic acid which help moisturize and plump fine lines or "
expression lines". 


The box includes 10 sets, you use them 2 times a week, simply apply them
after washing your face at night and remove them in the morning, ( Don't
use the toner and moisturizer in the area that you plan on applying
these to.)


I am  seriously IN LOVE!..out of all of the products I have tried to help
with fine lines, this is the first product I use that shows a
difference within the first use, or well second. 

The first time I used it I put this under my eyes and a bit too close, so it was really uncomfortable :/

The second time I tried these  further away from my eyes, and couldn't even
feel them, when I woke up the next morning I sorta panicked.. I had a
little whiteness and the print of the patch..not too worry this
disappears after washing your face, This is from the peptides and hyaluronic acid.



This set is a bit pricey but its sooo worth it!..

DIY Craze: Updating some tables and chairs

After giving my coffee cups a mini facelift with the gold spray paint, I decided to put this magical spray to use and transformed my plain black table to a gold glass table!.

Who knew $6.00 will create such a difference, after 2 spray bottles my table was done. Next I needed to update my plain & basic Ikea chairs.

Unlike my quick weekend table project. This lovely project took me about 3 weeks to finish, mainly because of work and I gave up a couple times.. I finally finished and couldn’t be happier.

The chairs are super cute and look amazing with my Gold & Glass table.

I updated my chairs for under $40.

-          4 yards of Fabric $12.00

-          2-Primer $3 each

-          White paint $10

-          Fluffly filling $3 ( I seriously forgot the name but I found this in Walmart in the crafts section)

-          Thumb tacks $2

-          Heat and bond strips $2

-          Glue gun ( I already had this)

1.First I primed the chairs (this was seriously a must, one can covered 2 chairs) I tried painting a chair without primer, worst idea ever.

It took more paint and time to paint the chair without primer.

I let the primer set over night and the next day I painted the chairs.

2.Next I measured and cut the fabric to fit the chairs, I used the heat and bond strips on the ends to fold them in.

3.Place the fabric over the chair, and fill it in with the fluffy filling. I attached the fabric to the chair on one side and the back before starting to fill in the cushion.

I used the thumb tacks every 2” and used the glue gun in the center as well as the edges where you fold the fabric.

After the second chair and a few glasses of wine this was easier and I finished the last chair in less than 20mins.

I will  definitely re-do my chairs again, especially for less than $10 a chair!... seriously best makeover ever!!.
