Dermalogica: PreCleanse

A few weeks ago I received  Dermalogica’s  Pre- cleanse Oil and Wipes, and was a little unsure about this. I’ve heard of double cleansing but have yet to try if.

So what is double cleansing?

double cleansing is basically using an oil  cleanser(PreCleanse) to remove makeup & impurities from your skin followed by your regular face wash.

Dermalogica offers two types of pre-cleansers to help with the double cleansing.

PreCleanse wipes and PreCleanse oil.

Dermalogica PreCleanse Oil: 

PreCleanse Oil Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Aleurites Moluccana Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Solanum Lycopersicum (To-mato) Extract, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Decyl Olive Esters, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Isopropylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Butylparaben.

How to use:

- add a few drops of oil to your dry hands.

- Massage over dry face and eyes to dissolve surface oil, makeup and dirt.

 (Concentrate on areas of congestion or stubborn debris. )

-Wet hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion. 

-Rinse with lukewarm water. 

- wash your face with your favorite face wash.

Verdict:

This worked great!, this blend of oils removed all of my makeup, waterproof mascara and eyelash glue included!.

My face felt soft and clean!, it felt a little greasy but after washing it with my regular face wash it was gone. I would definitely buy this again!.

How to use: 

-Wipe over face and eyes to dissolve surface oil and dirt.

Verdict: 

I love how quick this removed all of my makeup and left my face feeling clean & fresh.
unlike other wipes these didn't leave my face feeling dry.
